Variable Rate Planting
The lowest-hanging fruit. Seed savings alone can cover an entire year's subscription.
Aerial thermal imagery for precision ag
AirScout captures your entire field in a single thermal snapshot at six-inch resolution. Every pixel is relative, so you build sharper prescriptions and act while there's still time.
Why AirScout
We are the only aerial imagery company that captures your entire field in a single shot. That's the foundation of a prescription you can trust. Everyone else flies a grid and stitches the tiles together, which distorts the very differences you're trying to manage.
Because every pixel is exposed in the same instant, values stay true relative to each other across the entire field. That relationship is what makes a good zone.
Grid patterns capture sections under changing light and temperature, then stitch them. Seams and drift creep in, making the imagery unsuitable for real prescriptions.
Built for prescriptions
Most people picture their fields in two-and-a-half-acre grids. We picture them in six-inch pixels. That resolution turns imagery into precise, defensible prescriptions.
The lowest-hanging fruit. Seed savings alone can cover an entire year's subscription.
Combine bare-soil and in-season imagery to tailor nitrogen to your present crop.
Thermal and ADVI build zones that benefit from treatment while sparing healthy areas.
Build defensive zones based on drought and other stressors, hybrid by hybrid.
Thermal shows drought stress first, so you can build zones for variable-rate watering.
Two-and-a-half-acre grids are obsolete once you can sample against six-inch pixels.
Catch emergence issues, insects, and disease pressure while there's still time to respond.
Estimate yields up to 30 days earlier than any other method, straight from the imagery.
Our technology
AirScout is the proactive crop-management tool. It's easy to learn, practical to use, and works seamlessly with the precision equipment you already run.
Our story
AirScout started in the '90s when our founder, Brian, needed accurate zones to make his own precision equipment work with GPS. What you see today is the culmination of decades of learning that began with a couple of farm kids taking pictures out of an airplane window. We're still farmers, and we're still learning.
